Immunisation and nutrition are vital public health interventions that prevent disease and support human development. Proper nutrition strengthens the immune system, while timely immunisation reduces infectious diseases that worsen malnutrition.
The integration of immunization and nutrition programs could facilitate service delivery, optimize resources and, above all, improve health outcomes, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. However, these two essential health services are often delivered separately, limiting their potential impact.
With the Gavi replenishment conference and the Nutrition 4 Growth Summit coming up, the years 2025 to 2030 offer a unique window of opportunity to advance child health over the long term. This webinar will explore pathways which decision makers and practitioners could embrace to achieve “INI” and improve the lives of children and vulnerable populations.
