Civil Society Calls on Governments and International Leaders to Champion Nutrition as the Foundation of Human Development

At a time when 733 million people are undernourished, the world must increase support for and prioritize nutrition in all global health and international development policies, investments, and programs.

During the Decade of Action on Nutrition (2016–2025), the world has made significant progress, especially on stunting reduction. However, we are deeply concerned that multiple, overlapping crises are worsening already fragile nutrition and food security situations, leading to skyrocketing rates of hunger and malnutrition among children, women, and men around the world.

With the Nutrition For Growth (N4G) Summit to be held in Paris in March 2025, international leaders have the opportunity to reaffirm their political will to end malnutrition. Global Health Advocates and its partners from the ACTION network stand ready to support their leadership in this direction.
